Happy Easter Workout

Childhood obesity is a widespread issue and needs to be formally addressed. Parents and guardians need to continually do their part to keep their children active. The ease and allure of technology is sweeping through the younger generations and it is the responsibility of adults to get creative and make sure kids are still engaging in sports or some other form of exercise activities. Give this healthy Easter Egg Hunt Workout a shot to mix up the standard sugar rush weekend and who knows, maybe you will have so much fun you’ll add a few of the exercises to your weekly fitness regimen!


Directions: You will need 16 plastic eggs filled with the following exercises:

  • 10 push-ups
  • 10 bodyweight squats
  • Plank with 10 alternating toe-taps
  • 10 crunches/sit-ups
  • 10 squat jumps
  • 10 (1-1) mt.climbers
  • 10 alternating lunges
  • 10 star jumps
  • 10 Frankenstein kicks
  • 10 tricep dips
  • 10 (1-1) high knees
  • Bear crawl to next egg
  • Crab walk to next egg
  • Skip to next egg
  • Hop on left foot to next egg
  • Hop on right foot to next egg


You must open the egg and complete the given exercise and rep count before searching for the next egg.


**You may scale the repetitions based on the age of the children partic
